YOUTH INSTRUCTIONAL SKI & SNOWBOARDING

YISKI IS FULL FOR THE 2026 SEASON
—
REGISTRATION AND WAITLIST ARE CLOSED
Many families living just 30 minutes from Salt Lake’s world-class ski resorts often find themselves unable to access them. Our YMCA, in partnership with the Share Winter Foundation and Solitude Mountain Resort, is changing that by making skiing and snowboarding experiences accessible for everyone who wants to take on the slopes.
Our Youth Instructional Skiing & Snowboarding program is designed to create equitable access to the mountain and teach the essential skills needed for safe enjoyment. We offer transportation, lunch, ski lift tickets, equipment rentals, 2-hour lessons, and the chance to make new friends!
Whether your child has never tried these sports before or is still a beginner in winter sports, they can join us to enhance their skills. Before hitting the mountain, we’ll host a Gear Fitting Night at the YMCA Community Family Center in Taylorsville to ensure participants are fitted with rental skis/snowboards and have any outstanding paperwork completed. Details for this event will be shared with participating families 2 weeks before your session date.
