BOOKING SEASON

Booking season for YMCA Camp Roger Yurts is:

NOVEMBER 15, 2024 – APRIL 26, 2025

The bridge to YMCA Camp Roger is currently under construction. Though we hope the bridge may be completed in time for our yurt rental booking season, it may affect the availability and accessibility of our yurts located at YMCA Camp Roger. There is an alternative route available, however please check local conditions before making the trip to YMCA Camp Roger.

 

Any registered sessions that might be canceled due to the bridge construction delays will be fully refunded or alternate sessions will be offered. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

PLAN YOUR NEXT FAMILY GETAWAY AT YMCA CAMP ROGER'S YURTS!

The YMCA Camp Roger Yurts are located just over half a mile from the end of winter maintenance on Highway 150 (Mirror Lake Highway,) making it the perfect Family Friendly option for your winter plans!

Once you've made it to the parking area, you will head across the Provo River (we recommend snowshoes, skis, or snowmobile), which is just stunning to see flowing or frozen in the wintertime! Keep going until you reach the YMCA Camp Roger Sign and enter around the gate. It should take around 2 two minutes to get to the yurts from the gate. 

At this time of year, you'll more than likely run across plenty of snowmobilers who often use the same parking space you'll be using to launch their own excursions into the Unitas. If you're hoping to use either of our yurts as a base camp, you're in the right place!
 

During your stay at one of our YMCA Camp Roger Yurts, you enjoy a variety of winter activities including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, and you may get to spot one of the moose that live around camp! Our Yurts at camp are electric-powered year-round and come with a WiFi connection. A pellet stove with pellets is provided for heating. There is no bathroom located inside the yurts. However, portable bathrooms are available inside the Barn (50-60 yards away).

Yurts are unavailable on Tuesday nights to allow for restocking.

Please note: Yurts are located approximately 50 feet away from one another.  For large groups, both rentals could be rented to hold groups of 24.
