YMCA of Northern Utah Overnight Camps

REGISTER FOR SUMMER 2026!

ONE SUMMER. TWO CAMPS. UNLIMITED ADVENTURE.

Nationally Accredited Safety Standards

YMCA of Northern Utah Overnight Camps are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), a voluntary distinction earned by only about 20–25% of camps nationwide. Accreditation requires meeting nearly 300 national standards across supervision, emergency preparedness, health care, activity safety, transportation, and operations. And it is not permanent. It must be reviewed and re-earned on a regular cycle. We meet those standards, every time.

The YMCA of Northern Utah is also Praesidium Accredited, the highest distinction in abuse prevention for youth-serving organizations. This requires independent auditing of hiring practices, reporting systems, staff training, and risk management protocols.

These are independently verified systems designed to protect children and they are part of why families continue to trust the YMCA generation after generation.

YMCA MILL HOLLOW

Discover What Camp Can Do.

For over 60 years, families have trusted Mill Hollow to provide safe, meaningful experiences rooted in nature, connection, and play-based learning. Whether your camper thrives in our on-site Base Camp program (building friendships, confidence, and curiosity) or is ready for the challenge of our Excursion adventures ⛰️ (backpacking, paddling, or rock climbing), every pathway is intentionally designed to help young people develop resilience, community, and perspective.

From first-time campers in Little Millies to teens summiting Kings Peak through BOLD & GOLD, there’s a progression that meets your child exactly where they are and helps them grow into who they’re becoming. We believe every child deserves this experience. That’s why we offer tiered pricing and financial assistance to keep camp accessible for all families.

This summer, give them independence. Give them community. Give them Mill Hollow.

YMCA CAMP ROGER

Discover What Camp Can Do.

Camp Roger is where kids come to discover who they are and who they’re becoming. Designed as a fun, challenge-by-choice environment, Camp Roger gives campers the space to try new things, build real friendships, and grow in confidence all while surrounded by a community that celebrates who they are. From mountain biking and archery to hiking, outdoor cooking, arts, theater, and unforgettable themed weeks, every session blends classic camp fun with meaningful growth. For younger campers, Little Rogers and Mini Camp offer a gentle, exciting introduction to overnight camp. For ages 8–15, Traditional Camp delivers the full mountain experience and families can even connect multiple weeks with a weekend stay-over. And for teens ready for more, our leadership programs (Rising Stars, Leaders In Training, and Counselors In Training) provide structured mentorship, real responsibility, and experiences that prepare them for life beyond camp.

We believe every child deserves this experience. That’s why we offer tiered pricing and financial assistance to keep camp accessible for all families.

This summer, give them independence. Give them community. Give them Camp Roger.

EXCURSIONS ⛰️

Go further. Climb higher. Discover more.

For campers ages 11–17 who are ready to step beyond traditional camp, our Excursions and BOLD & GOLD programs at YMCA Mill Hollow offer immersive backcountry adventures throughout the Uinta and Wasatch National Forests. These experiences are built around challenge, reflection, and leadership development. Whether backpacking through alpine terrain, paddling open water, or climbing natural rock faces, participants learn real outdoor skills while building resilience, confidence, and deeper connections with their peers.

Our trained instructors create a safe, supportive environment where campers are encouraged to take healthy risks, lead with integrity, and grow through shared adventure. These trips aren’t just about where they go, they’re about who they become along the way.

Perfect for campers looking for something more this summer.

It is our honor and responsibility to acknowledge to all who meet with us at the YMCA of Northern Utah Overnight Camps that we gather on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Utes and Shoshone peoples. These Indigenous nations have stewarded this land and all its inhabitants—two- and four-legged, winged and water-bound—in time immemorial.

We also recognize the broader Indigenous communities of Utah, including the Goshutes, Paiutes, Navajo, and Hopi peoples and their ancestors, whose histories and contributions continue to shape this region.

We honor their memory, their presence in our state today, and their ancestors' enduring spirit. We do so with reverence for their resilience in preserving sacred connections to the land and one another.

We Honor the People, We Honor the Land.

Acknowledgment of Source and Collaboration

This land acknowledgment was respectfully adapted by the YMCA of Northern Utah from a statement created at Utah Valley University, developed with guidance from Ken Sekaquaptewa and Kumen Louis. We have tailored this version to reflect our programs, people, and the mission of our YMCA community.
