There really is something truly magical about YMCA Mill Hollow. In conjunction with the National Forest Service, at YMCA Mill Hollow campers have the opportunity to spend time exploring the Uinta National Forest while building relationships with peers and staff, developing good character, and progressing in skill development. Our outdoor education focus makes learning so much more fun!
So, which week will see you there?
For over 60 years Mill Hollow has been THE environmental education center for Utah. YMCA Mill Hollow carries forward that rich tradition of summer camp: skits, songs, campfires, s’mores, arts and crafts, hiking, and so much more while campers connect with the natural sciences through outdoor education and exploration.
During a 3 or 5 day adventure, campers will explore by turning Utah’s mountain landscape into an outdoor laboratory where campers have the opportunity to experience the natural sciences while getting a little muddy, making new friends, and having a whole lot of fun!
At YMCA Mill Hollow, we take an in depth dive into the exploration of geology, forest ecology, and all things outdoor education. Our goal is to make learning hands-on and exciting! Click for a full breakdown of our curriculum.
Character Development focused on our four values (caring, honest, respect, responsibility) allows campers to set goals and reach their highest potential!
YMCA Mill Hollow is home to 20 miles of hiking on 5 trails through the Uinta National Forest and located near the Mill Hollow Reservoir!
Camper-led programing allows campers to choose the things they are interested in and encourages them to step outside of their comfort zone and try something new, which in turn builds confidence.
5 & 3 day week options are available to support families and campers who may not quite be ready for a week long time away from home.
Our brand new BOLD & GOLD program offers teens from all backgrounds an opportunity to backpack in a backcountry environment.
