Tom Nissalke's Legacy

IN MEMORY OF TOM NISSALKE, LONGTIME YMCA OF NORTHERN UTAH SUPPORTER AND CONTRIBUTOR

The YMCA OF Northern Utah celebrates the life of Tom Nissalke. Tom passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

We are saddened by his passing and eternally grateful for everything that Tom did for the YMCA and for all of the children and families in Utah. For over twenty years, he was a major leader and contributor for the YMCA and for our impact in Utah.

Tom is survived by his son, Tom Nissalke Jr., his daughter, Holly Nissalke and 2 grandchildren. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to be made to the YMCA Tom & Nancy Nissalke Fund for Kids.

At the YMCA of Northern Utah our cause is strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.  By empowering everyday people who are passionate about helping their community, we are able to make positive personal and societal changes that stand the test of time.

Together, we take on the challenges that shape Utah’s future. From tackling the achievement gap to teaching healthy habits for a lifetime or giving people the chance to strengthen our community through volunteering, everything the Y does is in service of building a stronger Utah. Every day, our community faces new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. YMCA donors, volunteers, members, and partners like you make the difference. You can support our work by making a tax-deductible gift using the form below.
