Camp Overview

Happy 4th of July from YMCA Heber Day Camp! Get ready for an explosive three days with the Y. Spend two days at our facilities Camp Roger and Mill Hollow participating in a variety of fun-in-the-sun summer activities. Patriotic themed arts and crafts projects, science experiments, and festive celebrations like color wars and watermelon days will make the holiday spirit last all week. End the week with a summer splash at the Wasatch Aquatic Center. Make this your child’s most memorable 4th of July ever with the Y this summer!

Field Trips

Registration fees INCLUDE ALL FIELD TRIP COSTS. Transportation to all field trips is provided. Our field trip schedule may be subject to change up to one week before the session.

Monday: NO CAMP
Tuesday: NO CAMP
Wednesday: The party begins in Heber City with Watermelon Day, red white and blue science experiments, and  stars and stripes craft projects.
Theme Thursday: Celebrate summer more with a color festival, s'more making, and classic camp activities such as archery at YMCA Camp Roger.
Friday: Hike and be a part of more camp games and activities at the Wasatch State Park before heading to swim at Wasatch Aquatic Center in the afternoon.

Camp Details

Traditional Camp Hours: Wednesday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Drop off: 8:00am
Pick Up: 4:30pm 

Campers should bring their own sack lunch each day along with sunblock. A free breakfast and afternoon snared white and blue ck are offered for all camp participants. Tennis shoes should be worn every day. Sandals, towel, and swim suit should be packed each Friday. Please wear clothes that can possibly be stained on Wednesday.

Each week we have THEME THURSDAY where campers are welcomed to join staff in wearing a costume.
