Camp Overview

Fun and adventure is guaranteed in a week of fantastic encounters with herds and flocks of all kids!  Immerse yourself for 5 days in the habitats of your favorite creatures as you travel to the Swaner Eco Center, the Hogle Zoo, the Wasatch National Forest, and other homes to critters large and small. See the magical world of the wild up close in personal by exploring diets, anatomies, and lifestyles of the animals in your own backyard. From those who rule the sky to those who burrow below your feet, no living thing will escape your quest to unlock the secrets of the animal kingdom. Whether it's the fossilized species of the past or a bird taking flight in front of your eyes, you'll be sure to connect with the wonders of nature and release the beast within. Join the Y pack for this unforgettable week of Park City Day Camp!

Field Trips

Registration fees INCLUDE ALL FIELD TRIP COSTS. Transportation to all field trips is provided.

Monday: Participate in team building and theme related activities at the Park City Community Church, followed by our afternoon pool trip to the Wasatch Aquatic Center
Tuesday: Visit the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City to learn about fantastic beasts from around the world
Wednesday: Visit the National Ability Center and try new activities at the Park City Community Church
Theme Thursday: Day trip to YMCA Camp Roger for archery, mountain biking, and other sports
Friday: Hiking and geocaching at the Swaner Eco Center, followed by our afternoon pool trip to the Wasatch Aquatic Center

Camp Details

Traditional Camp: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Pick Up & Drop Off: 8:30am-9:00am and 4:00pm-4:30pm
Extended Care (additional cost): 8:00am-8:30am and 4:30pm-5:30pm

Campers should bring their own sack lunch and snack each day along with sunblock. Tennis shoes should be worn every day. Sandals, towel, and swim suit should be packed each Monday and Friday. Money, electronics, and any other accessories should not be brought to camp.

Each week we have THEME THURSDAY where campers are welcomed to join staff in wearing a costume.
